Welcome to the 2025 Ross Tarlton International Bonspiel!
On behalf of the Ross Tarlton Trustees and this year’s host club the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club, we welcome you to the 2025 Ross Tarlton Bonspiel, running from Thursday, November 6th through Saturday, November 8th.
Again this year, all information is available online at https://rosstarltonbonspiel.com/ .
Parking at the Club can be challenging at times, and we ask that where possible each team arrives in one car. The Club parking lot is on the south side of Wilson Avenue. If it’s full, then parking is permitted in the two parking lots of the school on the north side of Wilson Avenue directly across from the Club after 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday and anytime on Saturday. Street parking is also available in the streets immediately north of the Club.
On entering the Cricket, please check in at the front desk, where the staff will have the team names and members.
We look forward to welcoming many of you at the opening reception, with canapés, running from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm, on the second floor of the Cricket. Players making it to the reception will receive two bar tickets. Further consumption can be paid for by credit card.
As you’ll see on the schedule, 24 teams have games on the Thursday evening, half starting at 5:45 pm and the other half at 8:00 pm. The first game for the remaining 8 teams is on the Friday morning at 8:00 am. Coffee, tea, and mini-muffins will be available in the curling lounge prior to the first and second draws on both mornings.
Lunch both days can be had in the Sports Grill, located near the curling lounge, or in nearby restaurants listed at https://rosstarltonbonspiel.com/things-to-do-in-toronto/ . Teams playing the 10:15 am games can also be served lunch in the curling lounge. Also at that link for consideration for dinner are several restaurants and bars near the club or the hotel, as well as other Toronto-area activities that could be of interest. All consumption can be paid by credit card
Each team will have an assigned locker, but be warned that these are small and best used primarily for valuables.
Saturday evening ceremonies at the Cricket will start with a reception on the second floor at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7:15 pm. Jackets are requested.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Cricket!
